Line Sensor as White Floor Detector for Fire Extinguisher Circuit Schematic

Eltronicschool. - When we build fire extinguisher robot, we also need white floor detector or line sensor when it's robot will run trough the line in the floor. So, in here we will show you one of the Line Sensor as White Floor Detector circuit schematic and also one circuit that show us about interface Line Sensor as White Floor Detector with microcontroller ATMEGA8535 for Fire Extinguisher like in figure 1 and figure 2 below.

Description

This line sensor is used to distinguish black or white color. The principle of this sensor is an infrared beam shooting (IR) to the area to be detected, if the color of the white area, most of the IR beam proficiency level will be reflected, whereas if the area is black light IR will be absorbed. Choice for this sensor is quite a lot of variation, eg create your own pair of LEDs with a photodiode in which LED's as a transmitter and a photodiode as a receiver or a combination of
LED with phototransistor, the same principle works with a combination fotodioda LED. This sensor should be installed at a distance of approximately 1 cm from the top floor in order to work properly. 

The fighting robot uses sensors to determine distance line maximum between the robot with fire source will fire when extinguish done. Using line sensor on the robot is combination of LEDs with photodiode, wherein the LED as a transmitter and photodiode as the receiver. This sensor interfacing with microcontroller using Port D.3. like figure 2 below.
