600 Watt Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Circuit Schematic

Eltronicschool. - We think you will not foreign again with the name UPS or stand for Uninterruptible Power Supply. UPS serves to provide a backup power source when the voltage of the electrical grid outages comersial. UPS also will change the DC voltage of 12 volts form the accumulator 220 volt AC voltage at the time of commercial power grids automatically extinguished.

In this time we will show you one circuit schematic for  600 Watt Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) that will provide output power more than 600 watt with 220 volt. Maybe you can build by your self the  600 Watt Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) using this circuit like in figure 1 below.

All the component can be seen in figure 1 above.


Circuit schematic like in figure 1 above is  600 Watt Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). Circuit of 600 Watt UPS can be given loads up to 600 watts. Voltage output 600 Watt UPS circuit is 220 volts AC with a modified sine wave form (modified sine wave). The parts of this UPS as follow:
  1. Commercial AC Voltage DetectorAC voltage detector is used to detect the network status of commercial air conditioning, commercial air conditioning if there is a network UPS does not generate an AC voltage of 220 V to the load. Then when the commercial AC network outages, the detector will not give commands to the UPS to generate 220V AC voltage to the load. Section is organized by the configuration of the detector diode and optocoupler AOT128G bride D21. 
  2. Inverter 600 WattInverter 600 watt is used to generate the AC voltage of 220V DC voltage source 12 volts. This section will provide a voltage output of 220 volts AC with a modified sine wave form (modified sine wave). Part of this inverter is constructed using principal components IC U3 K561NE8 and network switch transistors KT315 and KT815.
  3. Pulse Inverter Generator. Pulse inverter generator function to determine the working frequencies and determine the frequencies inverter AC output voltage of the inverter. Pulse generator section was built with 2 parts as follow:
  • Osciltor T1 crystal, the oscillator circuit is used to generate waves with the frequency of 128 KHz output stable. Determinants of the frequency of use of a crystal oscillator circuit in order to obtain a stable output frkeuensi and right. 
  • Frequency divider U1 and U2, the frequency divider circuit is used to divide the crystal oscillator output frequency by a factor of 256 in order to obtain a pulse divider output is 500 Hz. The 500 Hz pulse by inveter processor IC U3 is used to generate an output voltage of 220 V AC with a working frequency of 50 Hz with a modified sine wave form.
